DTF Printing Complete Guide
What is DTF Printing? Direct-to-Film (DTF) is an advanced digital printing technology where CMYK pigments and a high-density white ink underbase are printed onto a matte polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film. A hot-melt thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) adhesive powder is applied across the wet ink, melted via an infrared conveyor dryer, and subsequently heat-pressed onto garments.
Key Advantages: Unlike traditional screen printing, DTF requires no screens, zero color separations, and works seamlessly across 100% cotton, polyester, nylon, rayon, denim, and fleece with full photographic gradients at 300 DPI.
